Concrete Tear-Out & Removal

If you want to repave a concrete driveway or replace a concrete patio with stone, you'll need to have the existing concrete torn out and removed. Some homeowners try doing it themselves with sledgehammers and pry bars, but they usually end up calling us after a few hours.

If you want to repave a concrete driveway or replace a concrete patio with stone, you’ll need to have the existing concrete torn out and removed. Some homeowners try doing it themselves with sledgehammers and pry bars, but they usually end up calling us after a few hours. Don’t forget that you have to load the concrete in a dump truck and remove it after you tear it up.

We use our Bobcat’s Grapple Bucket Attachment to tear up the concrete and then lift the load up and drop it into a dump truck. There are no substitutes for heavy machinery and our Bobcat makes the job look easy.

We charge by the square foot, thickness, and by how many loads we have to haul away. Pricing varies depending on a variety of factors so its best for us to come out and take a look. We don’t charge for estimates so just give us a call and we can go from there.

Before we come out you’ll need to call the local utility company to make sure there aren’t underground utilities beneath the concrete. Digging above a gas or electric line is very dangerous and we probably won’t be able to use any heavy machinery over these areas. We’ll need to charge more if we need to use manual labor.
